With significant experience as both a main and sub-contractor, we offer a range of services including tree surgery, tree felling, woodland management such as tree planting, plastic tree guard collection, biodiversity enhancement and pesticide application. Also Mini digger hire and ground maintenance. Our team is reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality results for our customers. Tree Services
We offer a range of tree care services to include, crown reductions, crown lifts, crown thinning, balancing of the crown to improve stability and aesthetics as well as removing dead or dangerous limbs or whole trees. Where space allows we can fell trees at ground level. This is usually the most preferred and safest method. All work is carried out by trained and competent staff.
Ground Maintenance
Ground Maintenance requirements vary from site to site, and our extensive experience covering Strimming, Hedge Cutting, Grass Cutting, Drystone Wall Repairs, Fence and Gate Repairs and Installation, to name a few, equips us well to meet customer needs.
Forestry Services
We offer many forestry services to include tree planting, tree guard collection, pesticide application, invasive species control, felling/hand cutting, thinning, track and footpath creation and repairs including general maintenance and biodiversity enhancement.
Pesticide Application
We offer pesticide/herbicide application with knapsack sprayer or weed wiping equipment to kill invasive species like Bamboo and Rhododendron. We also treat other types of vegetation.
Mini Digger
We offer Mini Digger and Operator hire to cater for all digging and excavation requirements, including track and footpath repairs and drainage work for example.
Hedge Laying
After completing a hedge laying course through the Brailsford & District Ploughing and Hedge Cutting Society we now offer a traditional hedge laying service to the Derbyshire Bullock style.

Health and Safety has a crucial part to play at Knight's Groundwork & Forestry to ensure everyone (staff, public and property) remain safe at all times.
All staff are trained and competent in the tasks that they carry out and risk assessments and method statements are used as required.
